The
Royal Golden Jubilee Scholarship Project is a project initiated by the Thailand Research Fund (TRF).
This project aims at producing a large number of researchers to meet the needs of the country
over the next 25 years. The project was first launched in 1997.
The
Thailand Research Fund has awarded 63 scholarships to Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT),
Thammasat University, for the academic years 1998- 2005.

Each
scholarship is for supporting a Ph.D. student for a period of 5 years if the student holds only a
bachelor's degree or 3 years if the student holds a master's degree.
The
amount of the award is approximately 1.5 - 2 million baht, which covers monthly allowances,
tuition fees, and expenses for conducting research at an overseas university. There is no
obligation on the scholarship recipients. Interested individuals should directly contact the
awarded SIIT programs or faculty members.
Application
forms are available at Graduate Study Section, Registration Division, Sirindhorn International
Institute of Technology (SIIT), Thammasat University Rangsit Campus, Klong Luang, Phathum Thani.
All applications must be submitted with the required credentials. Prospective students should
meet with potential advisor prior to filing out an application.
