| Dr. Thananchai Leephakpreeda, an associate professor of the School of Manufacturing Systems and Mechanical Engineering of SIIT, received a distinguished research award from Thammasat University at the “Thammasat University Researchers’ Day”, celebrated on August 31, 2007, at Rama Garden Hotel, Bangkok. The award honored his research achievement on the invention of “Speed-Sensorless Control System of Servo DC Motor”, TH Patent # 21467, issued on February 27, 2007. Dr. Thananchai said that this is excellent encouragement to ensure that we stay ahead in the field of advanced sensorless drives. The range of applications for this type of drive is extensive. |
