| Assoc. Prof. Dr. Taweep Chaisomphob has been elected a “Fellow, School of Engineering, the University of Tokyo” in recognition of his distinguished achievements in education in the engineering field as well as meritorious service to research and education at this school. He attended the Conferment Ceremony on November 10, 2007 at the School of Engineering, the University of Tokyo, Japan. In 2007, the School of Engineering, the University of Tokyo, has granted the “Fellow” title to 32 distinguished academicians in various disciplines of engineering from leading institutions such as Cambridge University, Imperial College London, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Stanford University, and the University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Taweep is a faculty member of the School of Civil Engineering and Technology of SIIT. He has intensively conducted a collaborative research project on composting technology with Professor Koichi Maekawa and Dr. Tetsuya Ishida at the Department of Civil Engineering, the University of Tokyo. |
